Dr. Gail
Phillips obtained her M.D. from the University of
Miami, Jackson Memorial Hospital in 1974. She completed her
radiology residency at Kings County Hospital, State University of
New York, in 1977. Dr. Phillips completed her fellowships in
Ultrasound
at Kings County Hospital, The State University of New York, in 1978.
Dr. Phillips
has over 30 publications in ultrasound and mammography, and
has lectured extensively in these areas. She was
Associate Professor of Radiology during her years of
employment in the department of Ultrasound at Long Island
Jewish Medical Center from 1979 to 1987.
Dr. Phillips is
currently an examiner for A.I.U.M. breast and ultrasound accreditation.
She serves as a medico-legal expert in breast cancer
litigation in the United States and abroad.
Dr. Phillips is
Board Certified by the American Board of Radiology.
